An Example Of The Desaturation Feature In Adobe Photoshop
You could spend a lot of time, and have a lot of fun too experimenting with the desaturation feature within Adobe Photoshop.

As you can see, I have not desaturated the whole image.
- First I used the selection wand. Whilst holding down the shift key, I clicked on the areas of color I wanted to keep. In this case the orange of the beaks and legs.
- I then inverted my selection. Doing this selected every other part of the image and excluded the orange parts I previously selected.
- The next step was to apply the desaturation. The color was removed from all of the image except from the orange parts.
You could play with this setting for hours and produce amazing images.
